Vietnam Televison Corporation (VTC) is a state-run enterprise under the Ministry of Information and Communications executing production and business activities in scopes of Televisions, Digital contents, Telecommunications and IT.

Experiencing ups and downs during growth process, VTC represented as a dynamic and innovative enterprise in applying new technologies and developing new services; VTC is also an energetic and persistent team in conquering the novelties and overcoming the challenges; thereby VTC set up a united team – a stable community.

VTC Corporation was the pioneer in successfully researching and applying Digital Televisions technology in Vietnam, It was an important basis from which Ministry of Information and Communications and the Government planned the Strategy to develop Televisions industry in Vietnam using modern digital technologies with the Scheme “Digitization of terrestrial television broadcasting by 2020”.

VTC Corporation was one of the forerunners who built the foundation for forming and developing digital contents industry in Vietnam In recent years, the growth of this industry created new step of advance in IT field; it was also the important kernel contributing in realizing the Scheme “To early make Vietnam a country strong in information and communication technologies” of the Government.

Based on above mentioned achievements, VTC Corporation has been recorded and awarded many noble titles by the Communist Party and the Government: 03 “Hero of labor in renovating period” awards for 02 teams and 01 individual; 01 “Second-class Independence order”, approximately 50 labor orders at first-second-third classes and many other merits and titles given by the Government and Ministry of Information and Communications
